Ecology students won Sustainable Development Promotion Award

    A team of Science undergraduate students majoring in Ecology & Biodiversity won the top prize "The Outstanding Project Award" at the second Sustainable Development Promotion Award (SDPA) for Students of Higher Education Institutions, with their project entitled "Criss Cross Country Parks".

     

    The competition, organised by the Council for Sustainable Development (CSR) of the Hong Kong SAR Government, was to encourage participants to organize projects for applying sustainable practices in daily lives and spreading the messages to their peers, families and the community. At the prize presentation ceremony, the Chairman of CSR said that he was impressed with the high standard of the entries, which proved that the SDPA could inspire wisdom, passion, creativity and commitment among university students.
