Student Peer Support Network

Student Wellness Ambassador

The Faculty of Science is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of all science students by ensuring a nurturing and healthy environment that supports both academic and personal growth. As part of our ongoing efforts to foster a supportive and healthy campus community, the Student Wellness Ambassador Scheme has been introduced.

Peer-to-peer support is an effective tool that brings a positive impact to individuals. Student Wellness Ambassador will play a pivotal role in promoting wellness, organizing well-being activities, and providing peer support.

Peer support

  • Support Faculty wellness initiatives: Collaborate with the Faculty Office to assist with Faculty-organized wellness events and programmes.
  • Serve as wellness liaison and peer supporter: Act as a bridge between students and the Faculty on wellness-related matters, and provide peer support to fellow students.
  • Propose and organize wellness activities: Initiate and coordinate activities tailored to student needs and interests.
  • Promote wellness resources and services: Raise awareness of available wellness resources and services among students.
