HKU Science strives to promote science literacy and equip students to be science-inclined population by letting them know more about the boundless possibilities of doing science.
We offer four science enrichment programmes to senior secondary school students, including the Junior Science Institute, Talk@MySchool Programme, Campus Visit and TouchStart Science Summer Programme, allowing students to get a taste of doing science and learn frontier science knowledge.
Junior Science Institute
Face-to-face workshops in different science disciplines for F.4, F.5 and F.6 students and international school students of equivalent levels.
Talk@MySchool Programme
We deliver science and admission talks at both local and international schools. A wide spectrum of topics ranging from recent scientific discoveries to thematic science issues related to our daily life are available for selection.
HKU Campus Visit
We welcome secondary schools to visit our campus, museums and laboratories, exchanging ideas with our members and enjoying the guided tours and fun-filled science demonstrations.
TouchStart Science Summer Programme
Take your first steps into the exciting world of science through the 3-day interactive summer workshops led by the enthusiastic researchers of HKU Science! Through talks, lab visits, demonstration, group projects and more, you will get the chance to delve deeper into more advanced topics in the scientific limelight, embark on your journey into the exciting world of science and ignite your scientific inspiration!
