Professor Ngaiming MOK is a renowned mathematician specialising in Several Complex Variables, Complex Differential Geometry, and Algebraic Geometry. Known for his broad perspective in Pure Mathematics, Professor Mok has successfully addressed several important conjectures and problems by integrating analytic, algebraic, and geometric methods.

His achievements include numerous awards, such as the Bergman Prize of the American Mathematical Society, USA in 2009 and the Chern Prize from International Consortium of Chinese Mathematicians (ICCM) in 2022, and the Future Science Prize in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2022. He was elected a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Hong Kong Academy of Sciences in 2015 and 2017 respectively.
