Dr. Man Kit YIP studied physics at the University of Hong Kong and he received his PhD at 1999. Then, he joined the university and developed his academic career there. He is currently a lecturer at the Department of Physics, a member of the Departmental Curriculum Development and Management Committee and a Faculty member. He has been a designer and teacher of many physics courses for students of multi-disciplinary background. Over the years, he had completed TDG projects on common core course and "Holistic Education in Physics". He is now serving as an external examiner for the HKU SPACE Community College.
