Biography:
Dr. Lo has been a seasoned engineer and practitioner with extensive experience in Innovations & Technology (I&T) industry. Before on-boarding HKU, Dr. Lo was serving at the Entrepreneurship Center of HKUST and committed in organizing entrepreneurial activities including startup incubation, competitions, investor meetups, and promotional campaigns that aimed at growing the potentials of students and young professionals. He has been also advising students, research staff and faculty members in pitching, deck write-up for competitions and various fund-raising events.
He had also previously worked at Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation for many years in outreaching and recruiting global technology companies from various commercial sectors including Consumers Electronics, IoT, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Semiconductor and so on to build up the local I&T community. Meanwhile, he facilitated startups and incubatee to commercialize their ideas, implement with DFM, prototype samples and participate promotional events, and consulted options with Park resources and ITC funds available.
