Mr Man Fai LEE

Mr Man Fai LEE has served and witnessed the growth of the Science Faculty, along with his own, for more than 25 years. He continues to contribute towards various areas including undergraduate admissions, finance and facility management.
Possessing solid experience in undergraduate admissions, Fai provides valuable support to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions and the Faculty Secretary, ensuring that a high quality of students are being admitted into HKU Science. He oversees the admissions of undergraduate students through various channels, including JUPAS, Non-JUPAS and the Direct Admissions Scheme. Bolstered by his support, two new undergraduate programmes, BASc (AppliedAI) and BSc&MRes, were smoothly launched in 2019 and 2021 respectively. These unique programmes successfully attracted many of Hong Kong’s elite, science-inclined students to join the Faculty in recent years.
Another aspect Fai supervises is financial matters including payment, reimbursement, PO and facility management of the Faculty Office. Not only does he demonstrate his ability to complete multiple tasks in an accurate and timely manner, but he also treasures sharing with others about different aspects from his years of experience. As a responsible person, he makes extensive efforts to create a comfortable working environment for his Faculty colleagues, who can always count on him for his help and valuable inputs.
