Concordia, ASTEP and Beyond

I will give a short presentation of the french/italian Concordia Station, located on the East Antarctic plateau at Dome C, review the performances of the ASTEP 400 telescope and present results obtained during the 3 years (2010-2012) of operation of the instrument. Finally, I will discuss the opportunity to start colloboration for a combined ASTEP - AST3/IR programme to study exoplanets in the visible and infrared domains from Antarctica.
