To promote science literacy and to keep secondary school teachers and students well informed of our Bachelor of Science programme, our faculty members will deliver science talks and admission talks at local secondary and international schools. Six departments/school under the Faculty and the School of Biomedical Sciences in the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine have devised a series of science talks for secondary school students. The topics range from subject knowledge to thematic science issues related to our daily life. Some of the science topics can also be considered as Other Learning Experience (OLE) in the 4-Year curriculum.
In 2019-20, we offer
- 52 science talks covering various science disciplines
- admissions talks on 6901 Bachelor of Science, 6729 Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and 6224 Bachelor of Arts and Sciences (Applied AI) programmes
